Approaches Financing for Energy Efficient Buildings in Cities

Topics:

  • Should cities be engaged in building energy efficiency retrofit finance? If so, how? Short term? Long term?
  • What do cities need in order to be successful in this role (e.g. technical assistance, access to private sector investors, resources)?
  • How can cities best encourage private investment in energy efficiency?
