Highlevel Decisionmakers at Global Energy Basel to Advise on the Key Role of Cities for Sustainable Infrastructure

Global Energy Basel (GEB) is the leading, international Conference for the Financing of Sustainable Infrastructure. On the 21st and 22nd of February 2012, GEB will take place for the second time in the Congress Centre in Basel. The conference has been organized under the leadership of the Government President of the City of Basel, Guy Morin, and the Director of the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-­Fleisch.

Collaboration with the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA)

The Global Energy Basel Foundation (GEB) is pleased to announce its strategic collaboration with the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA).
The formal signing of this collaboration agreement will take place during the International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum in Macau in April.


Global Energy Basel connects sustainable infrastructure projects with their financiers

The leading global conference on sustainable infrastructure financing, Global Energy Basel (GEB), ended in Basel this week. The conference brought together 40 city delegations from, among other places, Johannesburg, San Francisco, London, Rotterdam and Shanghai with investors such as the World Bank, Credit Suisse and the Asian Development Bank. The two-day exchange at GEB provided the opportunity to narrow the distance between innovative infrastructure projects and potential financing.
